Bangladesh women’s national team, the reigning Women’s Asia Cup Champions, are determined to continue with winning momentum in the upcoming ICC Women’s World T20. In a bid to prepare for the global 20-over event, the Tigresses will be playing a number of series before the tournament and as part of that plan, they will be hosting the Pakistan women’s national team for a T20I series in October.
The concerned authorities are yet to decide whether a three-match series or a five-match series will be played between the two sides.
Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury has confirmed that the Pakistan Cricket Board [PCB] has agreed to tour Bangladesh.

“We have talked with the PCB, and if everything is good then they will come in October, before the [Women’s] World T20,” said Nizamuddin.
The two team had last faced each other in the Women’s Asia Cup this year, where Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by seven wickets.
Bangladesh earned a place in the Women’s World T20 by making it to the final of the qualifiers. They also won the final by beating Ireland and these two finalists will join the eight automatically-qualified teams in the main event, starting on November 2 in the Caribbean.
