Billings called up to cover for Roy, Vince returns to ODI squad

England cricketer Jason Roy is doubtful for the deciding ODI against India on July 17. A finger injury sustained during the second ODI has jeopardized his chances of being available for the next match.
“He remains a doubt for tomorrow (Tuesday) and will have a fitness test in the morning at the ground to ascertain whether he'll be fit to play,” a team spokesperson reportedly said.
Another batsman, Dawid Malan, was released to play for the England Lions. He was included in the ODI squad to replace Alex Hales who has been ruled out for four weeks due to a side strain.
Sam Billings has been added to the squad as cover for Roy and James Vince has been recalled to the ODI squad to replace Malan.

Vince last played for England in ODIs in September 2016. He has been brilliant in the 50-over format in recent times leading Hampshire to Royal London One-Day Cup triumph.
England seamer Mark Wood believes that Vince will fit in the team should he replace Roy.
“When you look at Jason Roy the first thing you think is Alex Hales will come in, but he's obviously injured so again it proves the depth that we've got at the top of the order where James Vince, who was brilliant for Hampshire in the domestic competition, he can come in and sort of just fits in the team as another one of the lads.
“It's not like a new player as such. Vincey can hopefully go out and make a hundred,” he said.
The three-ODI series is tied at 1-1 and will be decided at Headingley on Tuesday. Following the third and final ODI, England will face India in a five-Test series, starting on August 1.
