Miraz pragmatic about Bangladesh's chances

Bangladesh started the second Test against West Indies on a positive note in the second Test after getting trounced in the first game. However, a century from Kraigg Brathwaite followed by another 84-run unbeaten innings from Shimron Hetmeyer helped the Caribbean side establish their dominance on the opening day’s play.
Mehidy Hasan, who made the breakthrough for the Tigers and bagged a total of three wickets on day-1, is confident about Bangladesh’s chances in the match. According to him, their first priority is to keep the runs in check as the opponents have already posted 295 for four wickets.
“All the spinners have tried to bowl tight line and lengths. I got two wickets in the first session, getting one or two more wickets in that session would be even better. Still [I’ve] bowled well. On the second day, our goal will be to get them all out as quickly as possible.

“Both spinners and pacers have bowled well. Unfortunately, the pacers didn’t bowl enough overs on the first day. Still the spinners got advantage from the wicket. Hopefully the bowlers will try their best to take the remaining wickets on day-2.
“The plan is to prevent them from scoring more runs and to get them all-out as soon as possible,” Miraz reportedly said.
Hetmeyer will resume the second day’s play along with Roston Chase who finished on 16 runs on the previous day. Bangladesh are in a must-win situation in the second Test in order to avoid a series defeat.
