Zimbabwe lost their 3rd match in the ongoing tri-nation series. Bangladesh crushed them by 91 runs in the game on Tuesday.

After a 5-wicket loss to the Tigers in the series, Zimbabwe showed their mettle to bounce back and defeated Sri Lanka by 12 runs in the next match. However, they lost again in the following match against the island nation and were handed another defeat against Bangladesh.

Zimbabwe will now have to hope for a defeat for Sri Lanka by a certain margin in the next match in order to qualify for the final. Zimbabwe cricketer Kyle Jarvis has wished good luck to Bangladesh for their desired result.

The bowler reportedly said, "The way Tamim and Shakib batted, hitting the ball along the ground and gave themselves a chance. They got some runs. That's what we needed. We needed two or three batters to get in and give themselves a chance. We let ourselves down big time, we should never have been bowled out for 125.

"The moment you lose three early wickets, it is going to be really difficult to get those runs especially with the class of bowlers Bangladesh have. I think few guys will be asking tough questions of themselves.

"It is going to go down to run-rates. Hopefully, Bangladesh can do us a favor in the next game. We shouldn't have left it in someone else's hands. We should have done it ourselves. We wish Bangladesh good luck in the next game."

Kyle Jarvis took three wickets in Zimbabwe's impressive bowling display. They confined Bangladesh to 216 runs but fell short of 91 runs while chasing the target. Zimbabwe skipper Graeme Cremer took a four-fer to reach the landmark of 100 ODI wickets.

Kyle Jarvis stated, "For us, it is about getting in the groove again. This is going to be a good building block, especially going to Dubai next to play five games against Afghanistan. We have to try to get better as a squad.

"The win against Sri Lanka showed glimpses of what this team can do, so we have to take whatever positives we can get out of this and just keep building. It is a good group of players despite what we have shown out there."
