Zimbabwe staring at nihil

The 5th match of the tri-nation series has commenced as Bangladesh has won the toss and have elected to bat first. There has been a slight alteration in the team line-up as Sunzamul Islam is back in place of Saifuddin.
After winning their first two games with a bonus point in each one, Bangladesh are already in the final and will now play these games as a matter of practice for the ultimate game. Regardless of that, the Tigers will look to win the game and consolidate their place as the favourites here.
Tamim Iqbal and Anamul Haque Bijoy opened the batting for the Tigers, but the latter got out without troubling the scorers much. After playing 7 balls, he scored a run and returned to the pavilion.
Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal held together and have taken then score to 66/1 after 14 overs. The duo played good knocks and made a partnership worth 106 runs. The all-rounder then lost his wicket right after reaching 50, getting tricked Sikandar Raza's off-spinner. Mushfiqur Rahim came next, but failed to continue his good start as he got out for 18 runs.

Mahmudullah came next and perished for just 2 runs. Tamim Iqbal soon followed after a slowly-paced 76 from 105 balls. Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza couldn't add much to the score and went back to the pavilion in quick succession.
However, Sunzamul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain gave Bangladesh a great finish to take the score to 2016.
For the bowlers, Graeme Cremer was the best of the lot, taking 4 wickets for 32 runs. Kyle Jarvis supported him well with 3 wickets, although he did get stoked for 17 runs in the final over Bangladesh's innings.
In response, Zimbabwe came down to bat, but are seemingly struggling to face the tempest raised by Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza. The slow left-arm as already taken two wickets of Brendan Taylor and Soloman Mire while Mashrafe took the first scalp of Hamilton Masakadza.
The ZImbabweans could never really recover from the initial blows as they kept losing wickets regularly. Mashrafe got the wicket of Craig Ervine while Sunzamul Islam scalped the wickets of Peter Moor and Malcolm Waller. Sunzamul, Mashrafe and Shakib have all taken 3 wickets each as Sikandar Raza and captain Graeme Cremer are on the crease now.
