Imrul Kayes is out, confirms Sujon

Team director Khaled Mahmud Sujon has confirmed that Imrul
Kayes is out of the reckoning for the first ODI against Zimbabwe. The left-handed
opening batsman is currently injured and can’t feature in the upcoming game
against the African team.
As a result, Khaled Mahmud has revealed that his injury has
caused him to be left out and that the team management are only thinking about
the possibility of choosing from 15 players instead of the 16 members named by
the Tigers.

“Given that Imrul is injured, we are not considering him for
the first game [against Zimbabwe tomorrow],” said Mahmud.
“Out of the 16-men squad list, we are only considering 15
for tomorrow’s game.”
The tri-nation series will kick-off tomorrow from 12 noon as
the home nation will lock horns against Zimbabwe.
