Rabada razes past James Anderson

Kagiso Rabada has overcame James Anderson to claim the top spot in the ICC Test bowlers
ranking. With his bowling figures of 3/34 and 2/41 in the 1st Test against
India, Rabada earned himself 5 point to displace Anderson.
James Anderson is now one point short of Rabada's tally of
888 points. The English bowler had to lose five points following his
performance of 1/56 against Australia in the last Test of the Ashes where
England experienced a 4-0 deficit.
Rabada has been phenomenal since his debut and did not take
much time to become the spearhead of the South African bowling attack. The
22-year-old is now enjoying his career best ranking after achieving his career
best ranking points.
Rabada reportedly said, "It's special to be ranked as
the No.1 Test bowler in the world. It is a surreal feeling. It's what you dream
of achieving when you start playing the game.

"Cricket is ultimately a team sport and I'm thankful
for the support from my team-mates. It's a great start to the year personally
and for us as a team, hopefully we can continue putting in winning
performances."
South Africa will take on India in the 2nd Test of the series at Centurion on 13th January. Rabada will surely look forward to performing well and sealing the series for his team against the Men in Blue.
