Brothers of destruction rejoice in glory

One of the best moments of the summer was to witness the
Marsh brothers losing themselves in ecstasy after Mitchell Marsh reached his
second century in this Ashes series. While the both the brothers have scored a
century in this Ashes prior to this game, this one was special because both of
them were together on the pitch when it happened.
Indeed, such was the happiness surrounding the two that
Shaun Marsh actually forgot that his brother is yet to complete his run and
tried to hug him while the duo were running between the wickets. Steven Smith
was visibly animated and was mouthed saying “f**k me!” after the incident.
And Shaun revealed the extent of joy that they shared in
that moment.
"To be out there with Mitch, to both get a Test century
for Australia and share each other's emotions when we got to our hundreds was
an extremely happy moment," said Shaun. "It'll certainly be a day
that we won't forget.”

Shaun Marsh then went on to state how much of a
rollercoaster his ride with the team has been over the last 6 months, but is
glad to be back in the setup.
"Six months ago I lost my contract and was left out of
the Test team and didn't know what the future held at this level. I went away
and wanted to just enjoy myself.
"When I did get picked again it was emotional. It's
been a lot of fun over these last six weeks - to be part of an Ashes series has
been very special."
Mitchell then added himself to the fray, admitting that he
never though he would play for Australia this summer.
"I didn't think I was going to play any part for
Australia this summer, because of my injury and because of selection, so it's
been a pretty whirlwind month for both of us.
"We're both really happy to be here now and to be contributing to a winning Australian team."
