England stumble after Australian run-galore

Australia are making it worse for England everyday as the
4th defeat for the English team in the ongoing Ashes is very much on the cards.
The Aussies finished the 4th day of the Sydney Test by dismissing
four of the England’s batsmen on a total of 93 runs.
Australia declared their first innings registering a massive
649-run total after losing 7 wickets. England are now trailing by 210 runs at
the end of day-4.
Starting off the day on 98 runs, Shaun picked up his 6th
Test century by cover-driving the very fifth ball. He was run out on 156 runs.
Before Shaun’s departure, Mitchell Marsh—who finished the last day on 63 runs—also
smashed his 2nd Test century and together they became the only fifth
brother-duo to have scored a century each in the same innings.
Mitchell posted 101 runs before being bowled out by Tom
Curran. Mitchell Starc was dismissed by Moeen Ali scoring 11 runs. Tim Paine
remained unbeaten on 38 runs, while Pat Cummins was not out on 24 runs prior to
the declaration.

England’s batting added to their frustrations as their
opener Mark Stoneman returned to the pavilion scoring none. Stoneman was
trapped lbw by Starc. Alastair Cook made 10 runs before getting out bowled by
Nathan Lyon.
Another Aussie bowler, Pat Cummins, bagged the wicket of
James Vince. Vince scored 18 runs before leaving the pitch and Australia drove
another nail into England’s coffin as Lyon scalped the wicket of Dawid Malan by
trapping him lbw on 5 runs.
Joe Root remained unbeaten on 42 runs and Jonny Bairstow
accompanied him with 17 runs till they finished the day.
England will need a solid batting display to dismiss
Australia’s chances and save the match on the 5th day as they have
no other options left. Australia, on the other hand, have to pick up 6 wickets
and score runs quickly if required to end this series 4-0.
