After suffering a crushing 149-run defeat against Dhaka Capitals in their previous match, Rajshahi made a strong comeback to claim their third win in seven matches. This triumph elevated them to fourth place on the points table, while Sylhet dropped to sixth after their fifth loss in as many matches.

Sylhet’s struggles began with their openers, who failed to deliver yet again. Zakir Hasan showed some fight with a 28-ball 39, including four boundaries and two sixes.
George Munsey contributed 20 runs off 22 balls, while Jaker Ali played a quick 20-ball 31, featuring three sixes, to slightly reduce the margin of defeat.
For Rajshahi, Sanjamul Islam was the standout bowler, claiming three wickets for 25 runs. Taskin Ahmed, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, and Aftab Alam picked up two wickets each to seal the comprehensive win.
Earlier, with Anamul Haque Bijoy and Ryan Burl’s batting efforts, Rajshahi posted a competitive 184/7 against Sylhet Strikers. However, a disciplined bowling effort in the slog overs by Sylhet denied Rajshahi a 200-plus total.

Sylhet Strikers’ bowlers put up a commendable performance in the latter half of the innings. Left-arm medium pacer Reuel Mia was the standout performer, taking 3 wickets for 32 runs in 4 overs, including a superb final over where he conceded only 2 runs.
Off-spinner Nahidul Islam delivered a tight spell, picking up 2 wickets for just 20 runs in his 4 overs. Young left-arm spinner Nahiduzzaman also contributed with 2 wickets, conceding 37 runs in his full quota.
