Ahead of the final phase of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), franchises have signed foreign cricket stars to strength their teams, especially, three franchises, Rangpur Riders, Comilla Victorians, and Fortune Barishal, have shown interest in signing big names.

Barishal have already got West Indies' Kyle Mayers as they are now adding the famous Protea batter David Miller to their squad.

He will join Barishal's camp on February 21. If everything goes well, Miller will play in the playoffs starting from February 25. A source of the Barishal franchise have confirmed the matter.

New Zealand crush South Africa to reach Champions Trophy final

Rachin Ravindra (L) and Kane Williamson led New Zealand to an imposing 362-6 in their Champions Trophy semi-final against South Africa

On February 19, Barishal will face off against Rangpur, and on February 21 they will be up against Comilla Victorians.

Even if they win one of these two matches, they will stay ahead in the equation for the final four.

However, losing both matches will make their path to the playoffs difficult. If Barishal reaches the final four, The ‘Killer Miller’ will be able to play.
