The auction for the Indian Premier League 2018 has begun and some of the top stars have already found homes for themselves in the biggest domestic T20 competition in the world. The biggest shock, however, was Chris Gayle being overlooked as none of the teams made a bid for the Calypso King.

Day 2 has also commenced and we have a surprise here as well as Dale Steyn has been left unsold! Another surprise was the sale of Jayden Unadkat, who became the most expensive Indian player today.  Meanwhile, 16-year-old Mujeeb Zadran also went for high-price.

But FINALLY, Chris Gayle found a team after remaining unsold TWICE. Third-time lucky for the West Indian!
