England mercurial all-rounder Ben Stokes hogged the limelight on the second day of the third Test not because of his on-field heroics but for a completely different reason.
Stokes captained England in the opening Test against West Indies where the hosts failed to secure a win but the star all-rounder showed his class in the second Test where he scored 254 runs and picked up 3 wickets to help England level the series with a 113-run win.
The all-rounder was instrumental with both the bat and the ball as he inspired the hosts to a comfortable victory in the second Test which kept the three-match series alive.

While Stokes did not fire with the bat for his side in the ongoing third Test at Old Trafford, he once again shot to the limelight with his antics on the field.
He was spotted fielding with a brown stain on the back of his pants on Day 2 of the third Test on Saturday. He was fielding at slips with skipper Joe Root when he left the England captain in splits while trying to hide his stain.
The moment was captured on the camera with the internet speculating it to be an 'accident on the pitch' moment for Stokes.
But the all-rounder was quick to clarify and revealed that he accidentally sat on spilled coffee which resulted in a stain on his pants.
Talking about the 3rd Test, England continued to dominate the proceedings on Day 3 in Manchester. Stuart Broad picked up a six-wicket haul as he ran through the West Indies batting line-up to help the hosts bundle out the visitors for 197, in reply to England's first-innings total of 369 runs. Broad finished with figures of 6/31 in his 14 overs in West Indies' first innings.
England then batted well in their second innings and were quick to post 226 runs on the board inside 58 overs while losing only two wickets.
The hosts extended their lead to 398 runs before declaring and handed West Indies a target of 399 runs to win the series which is currently tied at 1-1. West Indies lost two early wickets in the second innings with Broad once again doing the damage as they ended up with 10/2 at stumps on Day 3.
