Bangladesh T20 skipper Mahmudullah said on Sunday that they are not taking anything granted against Zimbabwe as the tourist can be a strong opposition in the shorter format
Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe in the two-match T20 series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium and the host looks clear favourites to clinch the series after winning the one-off Test match followed by cleanly sweeping them away in the three-match ODI’s in Sylhet.

‘’There will always be challenge, every game is challenging with whoever you play against. though we have played brilliantly in the Test and ODi series but then again Zimbabwe is strong opponent in this format. They have good bowling and batting order, we also have to play good cricket, we have to bring the positive in the match, because if we consider every match as easy match then it would be bad for us,’’ said Mahmudullah.
Bangladesh have so far beaten Zimbabwe on seven occasions out of 11 T20’ s and Mahmudullah feel that if they can play according to their potential it won’t be hard for them to earn a win.
‘’The way Tamim and Liton are batting I’m very hopeful that if they bat like this then having a century will not be dew for long time,’’ said Mahmudullah adding dew can be a factor.
‘’Dew, probably it would be a factor but it depends on how much dew will be there and we will discuss this with the team, and I said earlier that assessing the pitch is very important. So we have ourselves clear on those things,’’ he said
