Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan said on Friday that he would have played the final despite being 60 to 70 percent fit.
The final got washed away due to rain and both the team were declared joined champions but there were clouds regarding his participation in the final due to the injury that he sustained in their last group phase match.

Afghanistan were sweating over the fitness of their skipper Rashid ahead of final against Bangladesh.
Having pulled a hamstring in the final league stage game he hobbled off, only to return later and to pick up two wickets for his side. He aggravated it further while stopping a run in the field. However, all that went in vain as Bangladesh completed a four-wicket win to take some momentum into the final.
‘’I think it would shame for me if I did not play in the final the physio have lot of work to do in the last couple of days,’’ said Rashid.
‘’Definitely, it would be a shame if the captain do not play in the final and so I wanted to play anyway though I am just 60 to 70 percent fit,’’ he said.
