Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan said that the experiment in the last two games cost them but they are confident enough to do well against Bangladesh in the Tri-nation T20 series final, which is on Tuesday.

Rashid said that they would play their best team in the final, which is capable to win against any side, especially in the T20 format.
Afghanistan won the first two matches in Dhaka before losing two straight matches in Chattogram at the hands of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. As they confirmed the final even before their Chattogram phase started, they got the opportunity to experiment with the team.

“We have lost two consecutive games in Chattogram, now we are back to Dhaka where we won two games earlier. I think we just need to enjoy our game as I said. We did some experiments in Chattogram. We will play our best team in the final,” Rashid said here on Monday ahead of the final.
Oozing with confidence, Rashid further said that the two straight losses was not mental breakdown for them.

“We have to focus on the next game tomorrow since the group stage (league-phase) is gone now. We need to keep the basics right what we have done positively in the first two games. The most important thing is we are in the final. The previous losses or wins do not create any issue.”
“I think the way we have been playing cricket for the last three or four years, especially in T20Is. If we play our best cricket, we can beat any team in the world. I think we have talents and have the team. We just to keep calm and perform.”

The captain himself also is not sure whether he plays the final as he sustained a hamstring injury in the last match.
“Can’t say anything right now. Had some work on it today and yesterday. Hope it does work. We see it goes and we will make a final decision tomorrow,” he said.

Rashid, however, said they are also unfazed by wicket as they are ready to play any kind of wicket they are given for the final.
“We are ready to play at any kind of wickets whether it is turning wicket or flat wicket. We played the last two games on a flat wicket. The most important thing is how we adjust ourselves and perform. That is the thing we are focusing on,” he pointed out.
