England all-rounder Ben Stokes said that the semifinal against Australia is the most important game of his life. Stokes is not new to the big occasions; he has played in the World T20 final, Champions trophy semifinal, Ashes and many other matches. But the World Cup semifinal surpasses them all. Stokes has described this game as the most important game of his career and he also wants to make redemption of the Ashes lost against Australia.
"Is this the most important game I've played? Yes, to date. Definitely," Stokes said.

"Playing against Australia is a big occasion in any sport. The rivalry goes way back. Beating them is that touch better than any other team. Losing to them at Lord's was massively disappointing, so I think there will be a bit of redemption in knowing we have the chance to beat them and get to that final,” Stokes added.
England are the inventor of Cricket. But it's strange that they haven’t won any ODI World Cup in their trophy case. England have played three finals in the World Cup 1979, 1987 and 1992. But they have never touched the prestigious trophy. But this time it's different, England is the host nation of this World Cup and they have come to the World cup in a red hot form. But to reach the final they have to beat their arch nemesis Australia.
These two rivals will lock horns with each other at Edgbaston. This match will start at 3.30 pm (BD Time).
