Bangladesh skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza said that they played fearless cricket against South Africa to achieve their win in the World Cup opener at Oval.
Bangladesh began their World Cup campaign in style as they defeated South Africa by 21 runs in their opening game as they dismissed the opponent to 309-8 after putting 330 on the board.
Since they put their foot in England one thing that chased Bangladesh was that wheth
‘’Mainly we talked [about the game] yesterday. The thing that we discussed is that we have nothing to lose,’’ Mashrafee told reporters after their win against South Africa adding that all he wanted was to fight till the last ball.

‘’Even if we did badly here there is no point of giving excuse. Pressure will be there and we have to play with that too,’’ he said.
‘’We have to do the best possible things and we have to make sure that we don’t give up till the last ball,’’ he said when he was asked what was his message to his boys that forced them to play such a clinical performance.
er they can put 300 plus runs on the board considering they don’t have the habit of scoring that on regular basis.
However, Bangladesh managed to answer all their critics by putting their highest ODI total on the board and that too against one of the best bowling attack of the competition.
Mashrafee said that his teammates need to keep their foot on the ground as it is just the beginning of the tournament.
Mashrafee added that he is not expecting such performance all the time as they progress ahead in the competition, when he was asked whether it was message for other teams in the tournament
‘’It depends on how other teams are thinking about us. We are looking at every team as a big team and we will try to give our best,’’ said Mashrafee.
‘’We have make sure that players don’t get injured, if everyone stays fit as that would be good for us. May be this won’t happen in every match, that’s for sure. But if everyone gives their best we have the ability to do lot better,’’ he said.
