Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah Riyad won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in the second and final Test on Sunday.

Aiming to level the series, following a shocking 151-run defeat to Zimbabwe in the first match, Bangladesh handed Mohammad Mithun, a consistent run scorer in the ODI cricket and fast bowler Khaled Ahmed a Test debut.

Mithun became the most experienced first-class player from Bangladesh to make his debut, with 88 games under his belt.
