Anamul thinks he has improved

Anamul Haque Bijoy will feature in the national team after three long years. The batsman has not played for the Tigers since his exit due to injury during the World Cup in 2015. He played in the domestic leagues and performed well, and that has earned him a national-call.
When asked how was his time outside the national team, Anamul reportedly said, "Actually there were more challenges than disappointment. For me every domestic league was challenging. For instance, as soon as the premier league ended people would ask 'how much has Bijoy scored?'. Same goes for the first-class cricket tournaments,"

"Everyone has seen what I had done in the BPL. This is a challenge for me. Something to inspire myself to do better. Not being able to play well is what disappoints me. When other players perform well in the national team I don't feel disappointed for myself. In fact, I feel great when the team play well. I always dream big. Maybe that's the reason I don't feel upset," he added.
Anamul thinks playing first-class cricket and participating in the domestic leagues have improved his performance. He said, "I think there is a matter of experience. I have played some long innings. I played 20 first-class matches probably. I played in 40 one-day matches as well. This is a set of experiences.
"Apart from that, winning matches for the team or being a part of the winning team is also a great experience. There are also some issues like improving batting skills, working on wicket-keeping. Actually playing regularly creates room for improvement. I think there has been a lot of improvements. The innings are getting longer; I have scored two double-centuries. I feeling much better than before in everything."
