Rangpur Rangers looked to be on the verge of their fourth straight defeat in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) after being restricted to just 137-9 against Khulna Tigers on Friday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
If Khulna wins this match, which looks highly likely, considering their form, they will remain unbeaten after three matches.

Young Naim Sheikh only could resist the Khulna bowlers, who were pumped-up once their captain Mushfiqur Rahim decided to bowl first.
Naim fought amid adversities to score 32 ball-49 with five fours and two sixes. Fazle Mahmud was the other notable scorer with 42 off 33, hitting two fours and as many sixes. Lewis Gregory chipped-in-with 22.
Pace bowler Shafiul Islam continued his rich vein of form with cherry, finishing with an excellent figure of 4-1-21-3. Pakistan recruits Mohammad Amir and Shahidul Islam came up with ably support for him, picking up two wickets apiece.
