Shakib ban has been the talk of the town in Bangladesh. But famous world personality has their say on Shakib ban on twitter.
Popular India commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted
‘’ The news of Shakib being banned for two years for failing to report "approaches to indulge in corrupt practices is huge and terrible for the game in Bangladesh. Shakib is their highest earning cricketer and was in the best position to set an example by reporting an offer". He also said

I have so enjoyed watching Shakib play cricket and I hope to see him emerge from this and continue to show his value on a cricket ground
Micheal Vaughan was very harsh on his tweet
"No sympathy what’s so ever for Shakib Al Hasan ... Non what’s so ever ... In this era the players get briefed all the time about what they can & cant do and what that has to report straight away ... 2 yrs isn’t enough ... It should have been longer."
Pakistan cricket host Zainab abbas twitted
"Unimaginable as to why a cricketer who has been playing cricket all his life, supposedly would be aware of the rules, fails to comply? Why risk a career by avoiding reporting? Can’t be a case of ignorance because there are enough examples now for other players to go by.. sad!".
Popular India sports journalists Ayaz Menon has his say on tweet
Sakib is surely best player and biggest figure ever in Bangladesh cricket. Easily the highest-earning too. Why would he not report overtures made to him by bookies and leave himself vulnerable? Inexplicable
