BCB XI to take Chhattisgarh in semifinal of Mini Ranji Trophy

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI is set to take on Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh tomorrow (Sunday) in the semifinal of the Dr. (capt.) K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament, known as Mini Ranji Trophy at Alur-1 (Platinum Oval) in Bangalore.


The BCB XI made it to the last four by becoming the champion of Group B as they collected 11 points after winning one match and settling for draw in two matches.

BCB XI drew their match against Vidarbha Cricket Association and Dr. DY Patil Cricket Academy before crushing KSCA Secretary’s XI by 10 wickets.


Chhattisgarh however won two matches to top the Group C with 14 points.


BCB XI called up pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi for the semifinal match to bolster their bowling strength.



In other semifinal, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) XI will take on Andhra Cricket Association at Alu-2 (Golden Oval) in Bangalore and the match also beings tomorrow.
