Chittagong on back foot against Dhaka Division at the end of day-2

||Desk Report||
Dhaka Division are leaving no room for the Chittagong Division to mount a comeback in their first National Cricket League clash of this season in the Tier 2, at Fatullah.
Chittagong, who bundled out Dhaka for 238 runs on the previous day and made 25 runs for the loss of two wickets, continued to lose their wickets regularly after resuming their innings on day-2. Their highest partnership in the innings came when Hasan Mahmud and Irfan Hossain shared a 36-run stand for the 10th wicket.
Dhaka Division’s pacer Shahadat Hossain took his tally of wickets to four, by taking two more scalps on the second day. After he took four of the opponents’ first five wickets, Saeed Sarkar top-scored for Chittagong with an innings of 26 runs.
Mohammad Sharif, Nazmul Islam, and Shuvagoto Hom got one wicket each with Mosharraf Hossain striking twice in the middle to wrap up Chittagong's innings for a poor total.

Coming on to bat in their second innings, Dhaka Division’s openers, Rony Talukder and Abdul Mazid, kept adding to Chittagong’s woes. Rony picked up a hundred and remained unbeaten at the end of the second day’s play while Mazid also finished being not out on 66 runs.
The Chittagong Division bowlers will now need to repeat their first innings heroics to make some space for their side in this clash. Dhaka Division, on the other hand, will resume their third day’s play by being on the driver’s seat.
