After losing his top spot to Glenn Maxwell in T20Is earlier this year, Bangladesh Test and T20I skipper Shakib Al Hasan has now been replaced by Rashid Khan in the ICC all-rounders’ rankings for ODIs. However, he has retained his position at the pinnacle in the all-rounder’s rankings for Tests.
Since May 2015 (when the current ranking began), Shakib has featured in 42 ODIs, scoring 1271 runs and taking 49 wickets with a 35-odd average in both departments. Rashid, on the other hand, played 52 ODIs since making his debut in October 2015 and has so far took 118 wickets at an average of 14.47 while also scoring 676 runs at 21.8 in the format.

The ICC Players Rankings for ODIs have also seen some major changes in the batsmen’s rankings following the Asia Cup as the top three run-getters of the tournament, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Mushfiqur Rahim, reached their career-best positions.
Rohit climbed two places up to the second position with Virat Kohli still at the top of the chart. Dhawan, on the other hand, moved up to the fifth position while Mushfiqur reached the 16th position in the same category of rankings..
In the bowlers’ rankings, Mustafizur Rahman and Kuldeep Yadav, who were the joint-highest wicket-takers alongside Rashid Khan in the Asia Cup, earned their career-best 12th and third position, respectively.
