Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad is ready to take the challenges that lie ahead of his team at the upcoming Asia up.
Among the Bangladesh cricketers, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman, and Mahmudullah himself are the only ones to have played in the UAE over the last few years. The rest of the cricketers might have a tough time in the hot and humid conditions in the UAE, but the all-rounder is confident that they will overcome this challenge as it is part of their professionalism.

“At the moment it is quite humid, but as professional players we have to be able to adapt to conditions and embrace the situation that comes our way and we have to take it further on a positive note,” he reportedly said.
The Tigers will be playing in the UAE for the first time when they face Sri Lanka in the tournament-opener on September 15.
Mahmudullah is expecting the Bangladeshi expatriates in the UAE to turn up at the stadium in order to encourage their team. Their supporters will be eagerly waiting to see them put up good performances and lift their much coveted trophy which they failed to win twice in the last three editions by losing in the final.
“Hopefully we are going to get a really good crowd here because plenty of Bangladeshis live here, and we hope they will come out and support us and we hope to deliver some good results for them,” he said.
