The Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] confirmed on Thursday that they have called three cricketers- Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, and Mossadek Hossain for hearing on their disciplinary issues on September 1.
The BCB president Nazmul Hassan said that the governing body of the country’s cricket has decided to take sterner action against cricketers with disciplinary problems.
Sabbir’s alleged involvement in a social media fracas with a fan remained the most talked-about incident in the recent past and that is said to have played a major impact on his omission from the Asia Cup squad.

Before the Sabbir’s incident took place it was Nasir Hossain’s so-called affair and break-up followed by allegations from Shah Humayra Subah, which made BCB uncomfortable.
Humayra hogged the spotlight in the social media by disclosing her intimate personal conversation on Facebook.
Recently Mossadek Hossain’s wife lodged a dowry harassment complaint against the cricketer who claims to have filed for divorce from his wife.
“They have been called for hearing on September 1,” Nazmul told the reporters at the BCB headquarter in Mirpur after a long meeting with the think tank.
“It will not be fair to take any decision without giving him a chance to defend himself. That's the reason why they have been called.
“The [disciplinary committee] will certainly take required steps,” he added.
