BCB summon Mosaddek Hossain and Sabbir Rahman

The duo have been hit with controversy

Bangladesh batting duo Sabbir Rahman and Mosaddek Hossain have been summoned by the Bangladesh Cricket Board on Saturday reportedly for the controversial stories surrounding them off the field.
While the general consensus is that the pair have been called up for their ill-fated off-the-field problems, the truth could only be found out after the meeting takes place.

Both these players, meanwhile, find themselves in the primary squad of the Asia Cup. On top of that, they are also regularly practicing with the team in the sessions.
While Mosaddek’s name has been marred for the first time, Sabbir Rahman isn’t new to controversy. The volatile figure of the Bangladesh cricket team has been on the wrong side of things with women and also attacked a minor fan at a stadium.
If that wasn’t enough, he has also failed with the bat for a long time now.
Meanwhile, Mosaddek Hossain, a budding lower-middle order batsman that can also bowl, has been alleged by his ex-wife of domestic abuse pertaining to dowry. These incidents come at a time when the Tigers are preparing for the Asia Cup that is set to begin in September.
Under the tutelage of Steve Rhodes, Bangladesh had a largely successful tour of West Indies in white-ball cricket. As a result, these incidents of infamy are sure to bother the board and the team management.
