Tamim's Blue team thrash Green in practice match

Tamim Iqbal led Blue team thrashed the Green team by 104 runs in the practice match ahead of England series at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
Ebadot Hossain was the pick of the bowler who returned figures four wickets conceding 37 runs in five overs while Mehidy Hasan Miraz took three and Nasum Ahmed two wickets.
Blue team crushed the batting-line of Green team within 21.3 overs as they managed to score 101 runs. The top order stumbled down without crossing the double digits except for captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (27) and Mahmudul Hasan Joy (18).
Yasir Ali Rabbi smashed 61 off 58 which featured 11 boundaries to power Blue Team to post 205 runs in 42.4 overs after opting to bat first.
Veteran opener Tamim Iqbal (2) failed to impress in the practice match as he was returned early by Hasan Mahmud when the latter was caught behind by Nurul Hasan Sohan.
Another opener Liton Das played cautious innings of 36 in 49 balls but failed to convert into a half-century getting axed by Taijul Islam, he took three more wickets to finish with figures 9-1-23-4.
Afif Hossain (17) and Aminul Islam (28) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (19) played short innings in the middle assisting Yasir who top-scored for the Blue team.
Apart from Taijul's four-fer, Hasan scalped three and Rishad Hossain picked up a couple of wickets for Green team.
