After winning the U19 Asia Cup title in back-to-back editions, Bangladesh stumbled at the previous tournament, suffering a semi-final defeat to Pakistan.

The upcoming edition of the U19 Asia Cup will begin on November 5 in Oman, with the final scheduled for November 14. The 50-over tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups.

Defending champions Pakistan have been placed in Group A alongside India, the United Arab Emirates and Nepal.

Bangladesh are in Group B with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Malaysia.

The tournament will begin with Sri Lanka taking on Malaysia, while Bangladesh will also begin their campaign on the opening day against Afghanistan.

Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in their second group-stage match on November 7 before completing the group phase against Malaysia on November 9.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, which are scheduled for November 12.

The Group A winners will face the Group B runners-up in the first semi-final, while the Group B champions will take on the Group A runners-up in the second.

The two semi-final winners will meet in the final on November 14, with Bangladesh hoping to go all the way and bring the U19 Asia Cup title back after their disappointment in the previous edition.
