Bangladesh’s bowlers prevented the hosts from taking a first-innings lead on the second day, dismissing the UAE for 222.
Iqbal Hossain Emon led the bowling effort with four wickets, while Taijul Islam claimed three. Ebadot Hossain, Khaled Ahmed and Nayeem Hasan picked up one wicket each.
Holding a 12-run lead, Bangladesh began their second innings positively, with Mominul Haque and Shadman putting together a useful opening partnership.
Mominul was dismissed for 24, while Shadman made 32. Mushfiqur Rahim then contributed 44 before being dismissed, with Jaker Ali remaining unbeaten on 11.
Bangladesh finished on 114 for three in 26.5 overs before the umpires called off the match as a draw.
