Bangladesh posted a commanding 390 in their second innings of the Sylhet Test against Pakistan, thanks largely to a superb century from Mushfiqur Rahim.

The veteran batter was the last wicket to fall after playing a magnificent knock of 137, anchoring Bangladesh’s innings and putting the hosts firmly in control of the match.

Litton Das, who scored a century in the first innings, continued his impressive form with another crucial contribution of 69 runs in the second innings.

Bangladesh had secured a 46-run lead after the first innings, which means Pakistan now require 437 runs to win the Test.

With around 10 overs remaining on Day Three, Bangladesh’s bowlers will look to make early breakthroughs and tighten their grip on the series-deciding contest in Sylhet.
