However, skipper Nigar Sultana Joty and her teammates are set to return to India in mid-December for a bilateral series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is, according to a report by Cricbuzz.
This will be Bangladesh’s first women’s bilateral tour to India since April 2013.
The ODI series will also be part of the ICC Women’s Championship. Matches are likely to be held in Kolkata and Kota, though the schedule is yet to be finalized.
Before the tour, Bangladesh’s women will take part in the National Cricket League (NCL) at BKSP, though key players Joty, Nahida Akter, and Marufa Akter will miss it.
Joty will not take part in the tournament as she had taken leave even before the World Cup.
Nahida sustained an injury during the World Cup, while Marufa has been rested by the BCB as part of workload management.
