Guyana Amazon Warriors announce squad with Sakib for GSL

Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib joining the Guyana Amazon Warriors as the full squad announcement reveals that Tanzim will be playing alongside notable names like Imran Tahir, Moeen Ali, and Dwaine Pretorius. The Global Super League is set to kick off on November 26.
Several West Indies stars also bolster the team, including Shai Hope, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, and Shimron Hetmyer. Emerging talents like Hasan Khan, Kevlon Anderson, Keemo Paul, and Shamar Springer are also part of the squad.
However, Tanzim’s participation in the league depends on the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) granting him the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC). Bangladesh is currently engaged in a series against Afghanistan in the UAE, which Tanzim is missing due to injury.
The team will head to the West Indies at the end of November for a Test and ODI series, with the Test beginning on November 22. Since Tanzim is not part of the Test squad, he is free to participate in the Global Super League.
The tournament’s final is scheduled for December 7, which will allow Tanzim to join the Bangladesh team in time for the ODI series starting on December 8.
Bangladesh’s Rangpur Riders franchise is also set to compete in the Global Super League, having already assembled a strong squad. This tournament is being organized as part of a vision by the Guyanese government.
