Bangladesh A team reached Pakistan on Saturday morning from Dhaka via Doha for the two-match four-day series and three one-day matches, starting on August 13.

Bangladesh A's tour was in jeopardy due to political unrest in the country, which led to change in the government. However, the two boards opted to delay the series rather than cancel it outright.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board later revealed a revised itinerary for the series, with the four-day team's travel date set for August 10.

They also brought changes in the schedule by postponing the first match on August 13 instead of August 10, while the second one will begin on August 20 instead of August 17.

The three one-day matches – originally scheduled for August 23, 25, and 27 – have been rescheduled to August 26, 28, and 30.

Anamul Haque Bijoy will lead the side. Many national team players, including Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque, Zakir Hasan, and Nayeem Hasan, have been included in the first four-day match as part of the preparation for the national team's two-Test series in Pakistan later this month.
