“Pakistan and India are traditional rival teams. There is great excitement surrounding their matches,” said the Cricket Australia CEO.

Hockley also urged the cricket boards of both India and Pakistan to work together in harmony for such initiatives.

“We are ready to support both teams for bilateral and triangular series. He emphasized the need for consensus between both boards and governments, saying that “Both boards need to decide first, and we will assist in hosting,”.

He further said the formal discussions are pending due to the busy schedules of cricket boards, pointing out that further conversations are needed before any official plans could be made.
