Nathan Hauritz named HP's head coach

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appointed former Australia cricketer Nathan Hauritz as the new head coach of the HP unit.
BCB director and HP chairman Naimur Rahman Durjoy confirmed the development regarding the signing of the new head coach on Thursday.
David Hemp was promoted to the national team as the batting coach in February which created a void in HP's coaching setup, Nathan will succeed Hemp in the HP team.
Nathan has achieved significant success in his international career. The 42-year-old spin bowler has taken 63 wickets in 17 Tests. In addition to this, he appeared in 58 ODI matches and taken 63 wickets.
Nathan worked with school cricket in Australia and was also the spin bowling coach for the Ireland national team in 2023.
