Zimbabwe deny whitewash by beating Bangladesh in 5th T20I

Zimbabwe registered an 8-wicket win against Bangladesh in the fifth T20I to finish the series 4-1 at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Captain Sikandar Raza and Brian Bennet's half-centuries powered Zimbabwe to finally secure a win against the hosts in the five-match series.
Raza smashed 72 in 46 balls which featured six boundaries and four sixes and Bennet scored 70 off 49 and also took two wickets in Zimbabwe's emphatic win.
Despite a shaky start, the batters took charge in the meantime to get the side on the winning track with a crucial 75-run partnership between Raza and Bennet.
Shakib returned an economical figure as he took a wicket leaking nine runs in his four overs. Mohammad Saifuddin was expensive but got one wicket.
Earlier, Mahmudullah Riyad's half-century guided Bangladesh to a 158-run target against Zimbabwe after 20 overs.
Bangladesh's faulty batting was exposed yet again, thanks to Mahmudullah for his valiant 44-ball 54 which propelled the hosts to secure a decent total.
Tigers were slumped to 15-3, top-scorer Mahmudullah then added a 59-run partnership with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto for the fourth wicket to get them back to the game.
Shanto departed on 36 runs strucking five boundaries and a solitary six. Followed that, Shakib al Hasan came to the crease and put together another 39-run partnership with no-striker Mahmudullah.
Shakib contributed with 21 runs and wicket-keeper batter Jaker Ali played a brisk 24 off 11 to help them cross past the 150-run mark.
Blessing Muzarabani and Brian Bennet each picked up two wickets each for the visitors.
