Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman expressed his joy to share the dressing room with the former captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) MS Dhoni in the IPL.

Mustafizur returned to Dhaka after completing his IPL stint with the CSK for the national duties. He posted a heartfelt message for the veteran cricketer, stating ‘Thanks for everything Mahi bhai’.

Mustafiz appeared in nine matches and bagged 14 wickets for the franchise in the 16th season. He finished his stint being the second on the list of highest wicket-takers of the tournament.

“Thanks for everything Mahi bhai. It was a special feeling to share the same dressing room with a legend like you. Thanks for keeping faith in me everytime. Appreciating your valuable tips, I will remember those things. Looking forward to meeting and playing with you again soon,” posted Mustafiz.

Mustafizur was signed by CSK in the 2023 IPL auction and has been in stellar form throughout the tournament. He has delivered a string of match-winning performances which proved to be crucial to his team's success.

In his debut season in IPL 2016, Mustafiz made a strong impression by taking 17 wickets in 16 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He also played for franchises like Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.
