Corey Anderson named in USA squad for T20Is against Canada

The USA cricket team has named allrounder Corey Anderson in the 15-member squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Canada.
Anderson, who previously represented New Zealand, is one of the many new additions to the USA squad. He immigrated to America after the announcement of MLC now is eligible to represent the USA.
The new inductions among them include former Harmeet Singh, Milind Kumar, Andries Gous, Shadley Van Schalkwyk and Nitish Kumar.
The 33-year-old Anderson is set to make a comeback to international cricket after a hiatus of more than 5 years, after having played his final game for NZ in November 2018.
The allrounder moved to America in 2020, he excelled in domestic T20 competitions. Since his arrival, he has scored over 900 runs in 28 innings with a striking rate of 146 in the Minor League (MiLC).
He was the standout domestic batsman in the MLC, highlighted by a remarkable innings of 94 against the formidable MI New York.
