Adding to the turmoil, substitute fielder Jaker collided with Anamul Haque during an attempted catch in the final over, resulting in his stretchered exit from the field and subsequent hospitalization.

Compounding the challenges, on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough was forced to withdraw due to the sweltering heat, necessitating the intervention of fourth umpire Tanvir Ahmed to assume officiating duties.
