Sri Lanka to seek clarification of controversial DRS decision

Sri Lanka's assistant coach, Naveed Nawaz, expressed the potential necessity of seeking clarification of the controversial decision from Andy Pycroft, the match referee in the second T20I clash against Bangladesh.
The match in Sylhet witnessed a argumentative moment when the third umpire, Masudur Rahman, overturned on-field umpire Gazi Sohel's decision to dismiss Soumya Sarkar for a caught-behind, despite the Decision Review System indicating a distinct spike on the ultra-edge.
This incident adds to the turbulent history between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in cricket, particularly in recent times, underlining the need for clarity and fair adjudication in such situations.
"The on-field umpire has given it out. I am sure the TV umpire usually needs to have conclusive evidence to overturn the umpire's decision. It was clear that there was a spike. We saw it on the big screen. We might have to take it with the match referee to see what actually happened there. The footage on our screens was not enough to say anything. I am sure the TV umpire would have had evidence to overturn what the on-field umpire had given." Naveed said after the game.
Bangladesh thrashed the visitor by eight wickets as the series was levelled at 1-1 and would be decided after the third T20I on Saturday.
