Sylhet thrash Khulna in BPL

Sylhet Strikers finished the BPL on a high note beating Khulna Tigers by six wickets in match 42 at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Yasir Ali top scored with 46 runs in 43 deliveries aided by four boundaries and two sixes and Najmul Hossain Shanto played a gritty 39 off 37.
Sent to bat first, Afif Hossain smashed a half-century to help Khulna Tigers reach in the allotted overs. Afif played a swashbuckling innings of 35-ball 52 hitting three boundaries and four maximums.
Benny Howell was the pick of the bowling attack as he finished with three wickets conceding 15 runs in his four overs. He was accompanied by pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Shafiqul Islam each picked up two wickets.
Khulna had a tough start with their batters struggling on the challenging Mirpur wicket. Afif was spot on, scoring a fifty, but the other batters were inconsistent.
