Sri Lanka announce squad for Afghanistan Test

Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced a 16-man Test squad against Afghanistan as they will host Afghanistan for a multi-format tour in February.
Dhananjaya de Silva, the newly named Test skipper will lead the side, while Kusal Mendis has been named as his deputy.
The squad features a host of experienced names in Dimuth Karunaratne, Angelo Mathews, and Dinesh Chandimal.
The bowling attack will be led by Kasun Rajitha, Ramesh Mendis, and Prabath Jayasuriya.
The one-off Test between the two sides takes place between 2 and 6 February at the Colombo SSC.
Afghanistan's tour of Sri Lanka also includes three ODIs and as many T20Is, which follow the one-off Test.

Three players uncapped at the Test level make it to the squad: Lahiru Udara, Chamika Gunasekara, and Milan Rathnayake. Udara is a wicketkeeper-batter, whereas Gunasekara and Rathnayake are pacers.
