Durdanto Dhaka signed Australian middle-order batsman Alex Ross and local right-arm pacer Anamul Haque for the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20.
The cricketer has already arrived in the city and will be available for Dhaka’s next match against Chattogram Challengers, scheduled in Mirpur on Monday.
Dhaka will not get the service of Pakistani batter Saim Ayub as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided not to grant NOC to the batter.
The 31-year-old Aussie batsman has experience of playing 114 T20s in his career so far and scored 2090 runs at a strike-rate of 126.74.
Ross, who previously represented different franchises like Brisbane Heat, Jamaica Tallawahs and Dambulla Aura in separate domestic T20 leagues, recently played for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
Meanwhile, Anamul is a regular performer in Bangladesh’s domestic cricket and the 23-year-old has played 17 first-class and 14 List A games so far in his career. He recently represented Central Zone and Dhaka Division in the domestic tournaments.
