Conway tests positive for Covid-19

New Zealand opener Devon Conway has been ruled out of the fourth T20I against Pakistan, after contracting the COVID-19 virus.


Conway has been isolated from the rest of the team and NZC has announced Chad Bowes as a replacement for the dashing opener.

Apart from Conway, bowling coach Andre Adams has also been tested positive for Covid, and is under isolation.


Earlier, New Zealand stand-in captain Mitchell Santner also tested positive for the virus, and remained unavailable for the first T20I at Eden Park in Auckland.


The fourth T20I will be played today at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
