Ebadot Hossain hopes to return before T20 World Cup

Ebadot Hossain has been sidelined since July last year due to a knee injury as the fast bowler did not play in the Asia Cup and World Cup and is set to miss the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
According to the medical department of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), it may take another seven-eight months to return to action.
Today, in front of Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium's academy building, he told reporters, “I hope to return before the World Cup, In Sha Allah."
Last July, Ebadat was injured during the second match of the ODI series against Afghanistan. Then on August 30 last year, the right-handed pacer underwent knee surgery. Now he is in the rehabilitation process.
“Alhamdulillah, the way it is going is going very well. The biggest thing is the way the medical department is supporting… the rehab is going really well. Getting my strength back. I hope there will be something good ahead,” Ebadot said.
However, the 30-year-old fast bowler does not want to rush his rehabilitation.
“I am not in a hurry. The process I am following is progressing very well. The day before yesterday, I had both legs measured, muscle. Alhamdulillah, recovered very well. That's why it seems that the results of the hard work is doing are very good. Bowling has not started yet. I will start running slowly. Then start bowling a little bit” he added.
