Nicholls says Bangladesh keen to do well in New Zealand condition

New Zealand cricket team visited Bangladesh last September as a preparation for the India World Cup as they won 2-0 after playing a 3-match ODI series in Dhaka. After 15 years, Bangladesh lost the ODI series to New Zealand on their own turf.
The Bangladesh team has gone to New Zealand on the return tour, as Kiwi batter Henry Nicholls believes the visitors will be looking to avenge their pre-World Cup series defeat on this tour.
“It was obviously a good series for the team. It was probably similar to this series. A bit of different personnel from the guys who were at the World cup. But, like I said, the touches on the success we had there were great. And we know that whenever you have success overseas, it's very rewarding. I guess on the flip side, Bangladesh coming here to New Zealand will be looking to do what we did in their conditions,” Nicholls said on Thursday.
“So as a group, we're heading in some new faces, which is exciting, but also a core of guys who have been playing recently, and we're looking to lean on that experience as well as the new guys coming in, making sure that they're comfortable and enjoying and showcasing their skills.”
Today, Bangladesh beat New Zealand XI by 26 runs at Lincoln in their lone practice game ahead of the three-match ODI series, which will begin on 17th December.
