Bangladesh U19 start Asia Cup with a win over UAE

The mission in the Asia Cup for the Bangladesh Under-19 team has started with a match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the team in the red-green jersey welcomed their opponents with a victory in their first match.
Bangladesh set a target of 229 runs for the UAE. Facing the controlled bowling, the UAE halted at 167 runs. As a result, the youth started their Asia Cup mission with a significant 62-run victory.
Bangladesh lost the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and was invited to bat. The opening pair of Ashikur Rahman and Jishan Alam built a solid partnership of 74 runs.
When Jishan was out for 42 runs, the batting order stumbled for Bangladesh. However, Ashik, playing with a half-century, helped Bangladesh reach a total of 228 runs.
He played a vital role in shaping the innings of 71 off 102 balls, including 3 fours and 1 six.
UAE's Dhruv Parasher was the lone warrior with six wickets, spending 44 runs. Additionally, Aftab Khan took two wickets.
In response, during the chase, the UAE managed to score 167 runs in 47.4 overs.
Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi and Parvez Jibon took four wickets each, wreaking havoc on the UAE's batting lineup.
Mahfizur and Parvez were outstanding with the ball, restricting the UAE's batting as both took four wickets, while Iqbal Hossain and Choudhury Mohammad Rizwan took one wicket each.
Hardik Pai, batting in the late order, emerged as the top scorer for the UAE with an innings of 30 runs.
