Shakib falters on return, but Lahore cruise into PSL playoffs

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan on Tuesday was seen at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket stadium spectating team practice. 

Shakib returned to country from USA after a holiday with his family. The latter injured himself during the  second ODI against Ireland last month and could not take part in the last game of the series in England.

Shakib will also miss the upcoming one-off Test against Afghanistan due to the finger injury as a result the the Tigers will be without their regular captain.

Shakib is likely to make a comeback to national fold during the upcoming white-ball series against Afghanistan staring in July.

The Tigers are scheduled to play three ODIs and two T20I against Afghanistan after the one-off Test.
